今年は猛暑の影響もあり、クイーンニーナの色づきがなかなか進まず、毎日「まだかな」と気をもんでいました。

そんな中、ようやく少しずつ果皮の色が淡いピンク色に変わり始めました。

まだ始まったばかりですが、この色の変化を見ることができて、本当にほっとしています。

クイーンニーナは、甘くて香りがよく、大粒で食べ応えのある人気品種です。一方で、果皮が繊細で、収穫前の水分管理によっては裂果（実割れ）が起こりやすい品種でもあります。

ここからは、おいしい状態で収穫できるよう、水や樹の状態をよく見ながら、最後まで丁寧に管理していきます。

「今年もクイーンニーナを楽しみにしています」と声をかけてくださるお客様も多く、その期待に応えられるよう大切に育てています。

まだ収穫まではもう少しかかりますが、「ここまで順調に育っています」というご報告でした。

Queen Nina Grapes Are Beginning to Color! 🍇

This year’s intense summer heat has delayed the coloring of our Queen Nina grapes, and I’ve been checking them every day, hoping to see the first signs of change.

At last, the berries have started to develop a soft pink blush.

It’s only the beginning, but seeing this beautiful change has been a huge relief.

Queen Nina is a popular grape variety known for its large berries, exceptional sweetness, and elegant aroma. However, it is also a delicate variety that can be prone to splitting if water is not carefully managed before harvest.

From this point on, I’ll continue to monitor both the vines and soil moisture closely to ensure the grapes reach you in the best possible condition.

Many of our customers have told us they are looking forward to this year’s Queen Nina, and I’m doing everything I can to live up to their expectations.

Harvest is still a little while away, but I wanted to share this exciting update with you—our Queen Nina grapes are growing well and are finally beginning to color.
